Visionary founder and esteemed professional hunter at Leadwood Safaris. With an illustrious career spanning 25 years, Hugo brings unparalleled expertise and a deep-rooted passion for the wild to every safari.
Fluent in German, Hugo is a 5th Generation German, living in South Africa. His deep-rooted connection to the wilderness translates into an ethos of conservation and responsible hunting practices.
Hugo stands as a seasoned authority in hunting the Big Five, with intimate knowledge and respect for these animals, ensuring that each encounter is both exhilarating and conducted with the utmost care and respect.
HANNES MALAN
A 32-year-old professional hunter who grew up in the picturesque landscapes of the Kruger National Park, nestled alongside the majestic Olifants River. With a deep-routed connection to the natural world he has developed a profound love for being in nature, relishing in its beauty and tranquillity.
His passion for the great outdoors extends to the art of hunting, where he finds solace and excitement in the thrill of the chase. Hannes has developed into a formidable professional hunter, demonstrating his exceptional skills and success while on the chase.

Native South African Zulu, with ancestral wisdom and masterful skills as a tracker, skinning expert, and game ranger experience.
